Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a great few days with your family and friends! Be safe and have fun! Blessings and hugs to you all!
Just for fun comment back on what your family traditions are for the Christmas holiday!
Every year we go to church with my parents and then head home for our traditional Mexican Christmas meal that my husband makes. We look forward to it every year because he *only* makes it at Christmas! After that we let the kids open their gifts from each other and then tuck them into bed. In the morning the kids wake up, open their presents and then we head to my parent's house and open gifts there after we have our annual Christmas breakfast that, again, my mom *only* makes at Christmas and Thanksgiving.
We usually sit down next to the fire and watch Christmas movies like, Home Alone, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and Polar Express. We also always play Uno together while we have our desert! And of course everyone plays with their new gifts. We love the together time that Christmas day brings; the laughs, gifts, hugs, funny old stories and just being together and realizing how amazing it is to have each other. But most importantly we realize how blessed we are the our dear Lord and Savior was born and how he has saved us all. And for that we are forever grateful to Him.
So what are your holiday traditions?

Oh...you're traditions bring back memories from my Christmases before we moved to Maryland. We would watch Christmas movies and play Uno. We're still working on our traditions. Tonight Little Monkey, hubby, and I are going to bake a birthday cake for Jesus. Tomorrow we will open presents...then we will probably just stare at each other for the rest of the day because we don't have any family around here to go see. Maybe we'll watch some Christmas movies.
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great day with your family! Your traditions sound wonderful. We do much of the same.
It seems there's so much excitement from the day, it's nice to sit back with a movie or two to relax when it's coming to an end.
Merry Christmas to you and your family! I hope you had a WONDERFUL Christmas! Your traditions sound so nice! Our tradition is going over to my parents for the day, my mother makes her famous potato salad which I look forward to EVERY year! LOL... We listen to christmas music on the raido, and just spend time sitting around and talking to each other. All the kids play with their new toys, and it's just a great, realxing time with the people I love the most!
