Loads of pics from our fun filled weekend!

This weekend has been wonderful! (as you can tell by the smiles on our faces in the above pic!) My parents and sister kept my two older kids so that I could have some time with my girlfriends and wrap gifts. We had a great time; laughing until we cried, sharing old stories from our pasts together (we've all been best friends since 1st grade), having wine, wrapping gifts and just being girls. It ended way too fast. Our one friend lives in Las Vegas so we only get to see her 2 times a year so we cherish our time whenever she comes into town.

Then last night my hubs and I took the kids to go see the Christmas lights display. It was so much fun!!! We took the kids to McDonald's to get some Happy Meals and then to the gas station to get some candy for when we were at the park. Then off to see the lights! We waited an hour in line before we got into the park to see the lights. But it was well worth the wait...the lights were beautiful! The baby was of course throwing a huge fit in her car seat to I had to get her out and let her sit on my lap while we drove through the park. She loved the lights but loved the gummy worms more! lol Then out of no where we got hit! 'Holy crap! Someone hit us!' And then we looked over and realized it was a horse drawn carriage that hit us. Darn horse! lol My hubs got out to make sure the car wasn't scratched (keep in mind that last night with the wind chill it was -10!!) and then got back in after seeing there was no damage. So anyway, I tried to take pics but they kept turning out blurry. They're still pretty though. So then it was home for bed; my favorite part! lol

Today I wanted the kids to be able to have fun but it is about 17 degrees outside so I, being the mean mom that I am, made them stay in today. So, now being the "cool, fun" mom that I am, I came up with a holiday project. We made sprinkled peanut butter cookies, chocolate covered pretzels and raisins and candy canes. Oh and some peanut butter chocolate balls! YUM!!! They had a blast! So here are those pics too!
Tomorrow we're off to see Santa and run our last minute shopping errands. F U N !!! It's colder than a witches titty outside and I detest winter so I am dreading even the thought of leaving the house tomorrow! Oh well...
