Birthday pics and question

Last night was a great night! My son had so much fun at his little family party. We, err I, talked all the kids out of having big parties this year since everyone and their mother wants to charge a million dollars for a kids birthday party in their business. Sooo instead I told them that they could each have a small family party and get only one or two gifts and then daddy and I would get them all one big gift to share. I figured I would be spending at least $100 on each party so if I bought them a $150 gift for them all to share then I would be saving ourselves $150! Not too shabby! So I ended up only buying my son a couple gifts and he was fine with it. He opened his presents and loved them. My parents and sister got him some gifts too so he didn't notice that we only got him a couple. He's still at the age where the number of gifts doesn't matter but the cake and candles do. lol

My son even shared his balloons with his baby sister and she loved them. I made a mental note that when she is driving me crazy instead of calling for my reservation in the nut house and ordering extra padding on the walls and cloths for my drool, I can just go out and buy her a $1 balloon and save myself the trouble of phone calls and she will be set.

I also have a question for everyone. The big gift that I want to buy the kids is a dual screened DVD player for the car. Yes, they really don't 'need' one but they don't need any more crap laying around the house either, so I figure this one is in the car and stays there. Therefor I won't be stepping on it and it is too big and too out of reach to be flushed down the toilet or fed to the dog, so I'm safe. And this way when we're out in the car I will not have to break up as many fights for who is looking out whose window or touching the other, so I can save my voice. My problem is I don't know jack about them and I can't find any that have all perfect reviews and are less than $160! Does anyone have one that they think is fabulous? And where did you get it and, if you don't mind me asking, how much did you spend on it?
