My exciting day!

So today was an exciting, busy and successful day! My hubs got up EARLY this morning (and btw 'early' to me is any time before 8! lol) and jogged 4 miles...I know, he's crazy! lol Then we got the kids ready for school; breakfast, lunches packed, meds administered, clothes on, teeth brushed and out the door. Then we ran our errands, got some more Christmas lights, got our youngest from pre-school, did lunch, put up the Christmas lights and then it was nap time for the little ones. Oh and we got my son's first school photos back! I was overjoyed! Oh man...they are soooo good! He really is (sorry I have to brag) the cutest little boy EVER!

So then I had to pick up my oldest from school because today was the day she got to get her cast off. Wooo-hoo!!! When I picked her up from school she showed me that she lost another tooth! Holy cow...this girl is loosing so many teeth that she's gonna make me, I mean the Tooth Fairy, go broke! Then off to the doctor's office to remove the nasty, smelly, itchy, pink cast! YEAH! She did really well so I took her to McDonald's for some fries and then we took the long way home to have some extra time together; she loved that. Then a stop at the store to get some stuff to make another Greek meal. It was wonderful! (Sorry Stacey S.! You'll have to come here if you want some! ;) ) Then it was time for PSR (public school religion class) and dinner clean up.

I cleaned the whole kitchen & house, gave the kids baths and then my son read *me* a book! (insert shocked, excited look here!) Well....he really didn't *read* it, it was more like he memorized it and 'read' it to me. But still, it was awesome and made me realize how fast he's growing up! (insert sad face here!) Now everyone is in bed and I'm digging through the Tooth Fairy's purse trying to dig up at least $1 for tooth money. Damn Tooth Fairy is always broke!

It may not be exciting to everyone else, but to me it was a wonderfully, successful day. Christmas lights up (stop laughing, I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet!), errands run, kids alive and well, dinner made, eaten and cleaned up, house clean, tooth missing, $ on the way (for my daughter anyway), cast off and kids in bed! Ahhhh....(insert sigh of relief!)...
