A "Winter Celebration"

So my son had his very first "Winter Celebration" this year. (Yeah, they can't call it a Christmas party because God forbid the one kid in the class would be offended. Wait...all the kids in his class celebrate Christmas...oh well.) Anyway, it was a great party. It was on Tuesday so my husband was off which meant he could stay at home with the baby. Woo-hoo!!! That meant no chasing her around trying to keep her sneaky little hands off the other kids' snacks and juice boxes. And trying to keep her from digging through the teachers scissors and pens while standing on a chair. AND trying to keep her in the room and then chasing her around trying to clean paint (yes, paint) out of her mouth. But in her defense it did look similar to red pudding! YUCK!

So I got to spend time with my son. I got to see all the fun things he has in his classroom and spend some time with the other mothers and the kids. They played games, did projects and had a yummy snack of pretzels and cheese. And if you look closely at the pic of him showing you his messy hands you can see in the background that the other kids are being all nice and neat with their paint and project. My son on the other hand (no pun intended) was trying to see how messy he could get! Go figure...that's my son for ya!

I even got a pic of him with one of his good friends. And thank God this little boy seems just like him; crazy! lol They have tons of fun together! So here are the pics I got...you can tell he is having fun. Well you can tell in the pics that he actually looked and smiled at me in! lol
