Pumpkin pickin time!

Ok everyone here are some new pics from today at the pumpkin patch. We usually take the kids to the patch all dressed up in their costumes but since my younger twos costumes aren't ready yet we couldn't. It was fun, although the kids didn't cooperate as well as they could've! But that's just kids for ya! ;) They each got to pick out their pumpkin AFTER we took the pics and they love 'em!

You can see from a couple of the pics that the kids were a little less than cooperative. But they did have fun and I did get some good ones. My baby's favorite part was seeing the pig. Oh that pig, Porky, was so cute. He was running around and making his little oink oink noise that my daughter just loves; he had her laughing so hard!!! The older two loved picking our their pumpkin and seeing who could complain the most at having to take pics. lol We didn't stay long but just long enough to have some good family fun. On a little side note I did want to tell everyone something I heard of last year that makes me a little more careful when I go to the pumpkin patch with my kids. I can't find an article on it right now but it is said that the dust from pumpkins when inhaled or touched can, in some cases, cause Botulism. My mother didn't even want me taking my youngest to the patch last year because of this. I'm sorry that I cannot find an article on it right now, when I do I will definitely post it here. But please ask your pediatrician about it and be careful. I always come straight home and give the kids baths and I never go on a windy day so they don't inhale anything they shouldn't. If you happen to come across an article please let me know and I'll post it here.
